A celebrant-lead funeral ceremony is a meaningful alternative to a traditional funeral service. Usually there is no mention of god or the afterlife (unless you want there to be).

As your funeral celebrant, I will talk with you about your wishes for the ceremony to celebrate the life of your beloved one. I will listen with compassion and love as you tell me all about your loved one, and together we will vision the right ceremony to honour them.
I will create the ceremony for the funeral service, and prepare and write the eulogy. I will talk to the friends and family of the beloved one, asking sensitive and gentle questions to understand the life they lived and what they meant to you all, and I will use my writing skills (a professional writer for the last 10 year) to create a fitting tribute to honour your beloved.
If you would like a memorial or celebration that is a little different to the standard funeral service, together we can create it. I specialise in non-religious, earth-based ceremonies that involve all the friends and family to help them grieve, remember, love and release, and very much enjoy incorporating non-traditional elements to ceremony that really capture the essence of your loved one and celebrate their unique spirit.
At the service, which will take place at the venue of your choosing, I will act as the ceremonial MC and make sure everything runs smoothly for you from the celebrant end.
Prep for the ceremony can take a up to couple of weeks, and on the day the funeral ceremonies will usually take between 20 minutes to 40 minutes.
My fee as a funeral celebrant for a standard service is £200. For a more bespoke ceremony my fee starts at £350: we will talk about this in our initial chat about the vision for the ceremony and see what option is perfect for you.
